thought we had an effective water session today. but the stairs totally killed me. every step i took. time to start liking the pain again.

have always enjoyed sitting at the back of a pickup. zooming around with the wind in my face. spacing out.

headed down to the comp eng lab to help out this laoren's fyp. testing out this program where u ride this bike(the kind u see in gyms) which is connected to the laptop. you= yellow car, comp= blue car. if not its the other way round. main objective was to beat the comp la. so u start cycling ur guts out for that 1st 3mins. apparently when u try to knock the other car u'll stop. but if it comes from behind u, it just runs over your car. wah lao eh. damn kayu laa!!! boy we had alot of fun. don't need to do simi ergo, kayak pro liao la. this thing gets ur heart pumping man. ahhahahha

'mind over body' they always say. during tt last charge where u're so close to the finishing line. be it during runs, training sets or actual races. when u feel the surge of the boat with the hard10 or the other 19 teammates in the boat with you. making every stroke count. u get what i mean la.

we can do fantastic race sets during trainings u know. but then who cares how many fantastic sets u did. its the race day that matters. judgement's made on that final set. race officials, coaches, other teams, passerbys, are just gonna look at who crossed the finishing line 1st. they don't know how much each team has put in, how much they've trained. oh ya i forgot. the SRC TOO. timings and final results matter.
so whats my point. aiya don't know. just thoughts coming from the top of my head.

well one of them pretty brillant la. good grades n everything. then i asked. wth are u doing in civil? he said... well. he chose to come to civil. because he dreams to be an architect someday. turns out that his As weren't good enought for archi at nus. soooo. he's gonna get a degree in civil then go over to nus to get that degree. gonna be a civilengine based architect someday huh.
this other enviromental guy... poly guy. doing some free-lancing programming on his own. playing with some shares on the market.dreams to be a sucessful businessman someday.
